School Lab Administration

It is often difficult to find skilled staff members, or to staff a computer lab on a regular basis due to budget considerations.  The teaching staff attempting to diagnose or learning how to fix problems spends valuable time doing things they were not trained to do.  Often students are used for lab maintenance.  We offer a combination of on site and off site administrations services, which will assist in keeping the lab on line.

On-site Administration

Regular on-site administration and maintenance is accomplished on a scheduled basis.  Technicians regularly visit the site and perform routine maintenance and testing during low use periods.  Emergency service is available to keep the lab on line when things go wrong.  Maintenance procedures established for routine reinstallation of software and reconfiguration of software for different classes.  Centralized network storage systems include both RAID storage devices and automatic backup of student work insures that their work is not lost.

Remote Administration

We are able through the use of a combination of software and hardware devices to remotely diagnose individual computer glitches and network system problems.  Once diagnosed the technicians can determine what is wrong with the system or its components and determine how best top solve the problem,.  when they leave the office they know what is wrong and what equipment to bring in order to fix the problem.  Many problems, thus diagnosed can be fixed on the phone without the technician having to come to the school.
