Ford Bond Photography was established in 1976 as a small free lance photography business specializing in interior and architectural location photography and antique product photography. A student of Virgil Rowe of Williamsburg, Virginia, in 1977 Ford became Photo Editor of The York Town Crier an award winning weekly newspaper in Yorktown, Virginia. |
| In 1980 Bambi and Ford opened a commercial and advertising studio on Franklin Street in Tampa, FL. The studio cyclorama became the shooting stage for large product, dance and model photography. Utilizing a wide variety of small, medium and large formats the company provided advertising and commercial photographic services for a wide variety of clients. The location and direction of the studio's have changed over the years, but quality, attention to detail, and service have been its strongest selling points. | |
| In 1984 we purchased our first computer system from the New England Tech Group and began producing computer graphic presentations for corporate clients. We have always included computer imaging services and scanning with our computer graphics services. In 1994 large scale scanning services were added and in 1999 a Nikon digital camera adds high resolution digital photographic services for studio and location projects. | |
| In 1999 two major changes occurred, we went fully digital and we joined The Florida Professional Photographers Assn. As a result, we began taking seminars and courses in digital photography. Courses by Bruce Evenson and Tim Kelly and numerous Photoshop courses later refined our skills. These changes opened new vistas, we began doing retail photography. In our first year we took our portable studio to Assisted Living Facilities and seated over a thousand senior citizens for formal portraits. | |
| In 2002 we began doing events photography. Car shows led to Motor cycle stunt bikes and antique auto racing. Barrel racing led to a full range of equine events and rodeo photography. Moving to Jennings, Florida led us to Grand Pre Motorcycle Racing. Some of the results of which are the 75,000+ pictures currently on the web site. | |
| Since 2003 we have specialized in equine photography. Whe have photographed local and regional horse shows in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky and Tennessee. | |
